Deutschland-ING: Museum für Kommunikation Frankfurt

14th August 2018

Museum for Communication Frankfurt

This was the fifth day that I arrived in Germany and I asked my friend if he wanted to go to a Museum with me. Frankfurt has so many museums and the place where the Iron bridge was, on the both sides has so many museums, and there was the museum festival which 6 euro could get you visits to all the museums for two days, that was epic. There were also SO MANY market stalls. They sell accessories, jewellries, handmades, soaps and everything you could possible imagine and the ones you can't imagine as well, for example, Currywurst (German curry sausages, which they cut the sausages into small pieces, served with curry sauce and powder to dress, and of course your choice of chips on the side).

This museum is pretty cool, because i was able to see how people were communicate in the early days and how communication mediums have increased and evolved throughout the years, and how the women back in the days were serving as the line-girl where they plug people's calls through to the person they wanna to speak, and i definitely opened my eyes on that giant unit of sockets waiting to be plugged and connected to a lover, relative, parent or a kid on the other side.

And the museum also got installations which I was able to have fun with them. They have so much to do in here, I spent around 2-3ish hours in there.

This was what welcomed me first into the museum, after i purchased the ticket for 5 euro. What an brilliant idea of making a sheep out of phone cords and that definitely served the communication museum well.

This was the unit i was talking about of those women who worked back in the days. Can you see how crazy this thing is, so much concentration and absolutely speed requires of women.

"me waiting to calling you out of your bullshit"

I think i was listening to some sort of music.

the first Apple computer, thanks to digitalization

I wanna put my shit in this and go on voyage too.

Just needed an iconic tourist photo so i could show to my kids that i was here.

Ok, i was WAY TOO EXCITED because i was in Urban Outfitters. Because we haven't got one in Australia. And I did an fashion assessment on this brand so I was super excited about being there. The shop itself has a heavy hippie Industrial feel, and millennial vibe of course.

No, this wasn't taken in UO, it was in Bershaka which is under the same company as Zara but i think this brand targets a lot younger customer groups, ZARA is more sophisticated and probs target between 16-35 or even older. Bershaka I feel like its probs maximum 30 YO, but styles are generally trendy and young. But I love my strippy MacDonable inspired fries pants, I got that for 3 EURO so I am not complaining.
