Melbourne Travel Diary Day 3

Read my Day 2 here ;)

After a goodnight of sleep, we woke up quite early! We took tram to Southern Cross station. Anh and Sarah bought coffee at one of the coffee shop while obviously I was just waiting since I can't be classy and drink coffee. After their morning coffee craving fix, we took a train, it was roughly1 hour 20 mins to get to Ballarat station from Southern Cross. For some reason, trip to there felt longer than the trip back. We had fun though. I totally tricked Sarah and Anh to believe that I was secretly a lesbian using excuses like how I never had a boyfriend and cut my hair into a pixie. I guess they were all relevant and believable. They ended up think I was a lesbian ahhaha. That was my best bullshit, I thought they wouldn't believe because they never believed anything I say anyways. Yet, they had no doubts this time.

Just some thing we did during our train ride ;)

Me trying to pull different facial expressions

Sarah's turn

now Anh's turn

I told you, I sometimes model for photos ;) Sarah was trying out my DSLR

----------------------Ballarat, VIC-----------------------

It was drizzling and windy. Another cold af summer day of Melbourne

My thought at this stop was to go to ZARA and get a warm jacket.

on our way to Sovereign Hill !

Before anything, let us take photos first !!!

I got my first Sovereign Hill souvenir from here ;) it's a metal horse hoof with
my name carved on one side and Sovereign Hill 2016 carved on the other side.

I was so tempted to buy a kg of this rainbow shower salt

the Chinese tribe

The followings are some photos of Chinese Gold diggers' tents from gold-rush period

Then we went to see the process of gold-making, oh this old Italian man was crazy over me ;D Like Sarah said, I always have a bunch of 'mature/very-mature' guys chasing after me HAHA. Anyways, we were joking around, and I accidentally said you are too old for this to this lovely Italian man HAHAH. Typical Bessie though

Yes I was the one who HELD the gold ;)

Just riding the horse carriage. Nothing much really you know ;D

I really want the hat from the shop, but it was a little over my budget ;(

purple house !!

GOOD BYE SOVEREIGN HILL WE HAD FUN !!

our train ride
If you wonder why the photo quality dropped so dramatically, that's because my DSLR died, so I had to use Anh's camera.

she is absolutely destroyed

-----------------Queen Victoria Night Market-----------------

Of course, we had more activity on during this night. We went to Queen Victoria Night Market that night even though we were tired, but we needed food !
