Deutschland-ING: Wiesbaden ft. Wine fest

Google here to help: a little bit about Wiesbaden.

"Wiesbaden is a city in the western German state of Hesse. Its neoclassical Kurhaus now houses a convention center and a casino. The Kurpark is an English-style landscaped garden designed in 1852. The red, neo-Gothic Market Church on Schlossplatz is flanked by the neoclassical City Palace, seat of State Parliament. Museum Wiesbaden displays expressionist paintings by Alexej von Jawlensky and natural history exhibits."

There are so many beautiful landmarks which I still yet to go, but here are some photos I've taken on my trip to Wiesbaden, I actually go to Wiesbaden very often for shopping and chill since the town gives me stress :'), I definitely need some dose of city. Wiesbaden is the closest city that I could get to. Wiesbaden shopping street is no doubt my favourite and as well as Kurpark.

🚆Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof🚆
If Brisbane train station looked like this....
This particular mid-street parking reminds way too much of Melbourne.

It was actually the wine fest and too bad I don't actually drink alcohol that much any more.
Although it was the wine fest, I was pretty ok with not drinking and in fact this whole exchange has been sober for me, and I am in no particular interest in drinking for fun, really. I would try few wine here and there, and some cocktails and that is about it. And all the other exchanges students from Europe especially are big on drinking which I feel like i don't really mix well with that. No alcohol for me :'). I am a changed woman.

I had to take a photo of that floaty wine glass because for goodness sake it does not look like a wine glass.

I am definitely enjoying German plants, there are so many flowers around and I took so many photos of just flowers that I could potentially have a full post just post photos of them.

There are so many Cathedrals in Wiesbaden, and there's many more nicer ones but I just didn't have time to find them.

This is part of the shopping street, this street is about 25 minutes stroll and have so many different shops and restaurants !
A friend of mine who can't really take photos took this photo for me

🌲 Kurpark 🌲
I was in shook of its beauty and there's no park in Brissy is as beautiful or as big as this one.
I was definitely in love again. I actually couldn't stop taking photos because by the time I arrived to this park it was the blue hour and it's best time to take photos! Now just sit back and enjoy the beauty 🌳🌲🌼🌸🌱

Also, odd enough, I've had a lot more Macca fries and coke here than I did in Australia, which I don't understand why. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Deutschland-ING: Frankfurt City

Little bit about Frankfurt according to Google

"Frankfurt, a central German city on the river Main, is a major financial hub that's home to the European Central Bank. It's the birthplace of famed writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, whose former home is now the Goethe House Museum. Like much of the city, it was damaged during World War II and later rebuilt. The reconstructed Altstadt (Old Town) is the site of Römerberg, a square that hosts an annual Christmas market."

Thank god, I finally decided to stop being a lazy ass about my adventures in Germany. Anyways, Frankfurt was a beautiful city and was the first city I landed as well, first day was full of excitement and for some odd reason, the excitement didn't last as long as I thought it would. I guess that's a sign that i have aged? I am just comfortable and calmly taking everything in, amazing architectures and the good old city vibes I like.

 11-Augst-2018 Saturday

Arrived in Frankfurt again after two days of recovering from Jetlagged, homesickness and no makeup face.

 🚊 Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof

Also, after I landed in the Frankfurt Central Station, I completely lost my way and ended up in the opposite exit.

also this is something I learnt: European countries have a lot of bicycles around.

Got lost but the view was still amazing.

Just waiting to cross the road, and got super excited and took a photo with some German heads and buildings

🎠 Römer🎠

This is the city hall, I am in shook

This amazing bubble busking guy doing amazing bubble tricks

It's so hard to get a photo of me and just this old city.

Got told off for taking photos at this guy, so I dropped some gold coins to him.

Doing me: acting touristy towards the 40 storey high Euro tower

Doing me again, because good outfit needs to be featured in more than one photo

the most trendy colours of 2018 and super nice window merchandising

I just realised this market in Frankfurt is on almost every week, and more than one day a week, because after this visit, I went to Frankfurt again and the market was there again. And there seemed to be a lot of markets like this around, and you guessed, they have Beers and Bread with Sausages with almost no disappointments every time :').

The nice status in that market.

We were in an indoor fresh vegetables and food market, a little bit like the Melbourne Victorian Market. I sometimes feel like Germany reminds me of Melbourne, but definitely nothing like Brisbane. Only until this trip, I didn't realised how 'boring' Brisbane buildings are, but I still love Brisbsane though <3.

🌉 Iron Bridge 🌉

This bridge is filled with couple's love, and i wonder how many of those couples are still together :').

I would totally be more cliche and have a lock on this bridge, but too bad my loved one won't with me

Iron bridge from a different view and featuring a lot of people and tourists

🌜Frankfurt at 8pm🌛
I always lose track of time because how it gets dark so late and I am just generally happy to be out of the town I live in because I am one broke as city bitch who can't afford live in the city but still wanna be in the city.
